{ippity} Mojo

Can you believe this is the last Monday of November!?!? It's also my hubby's birthday today....he's 30....eeek.
I used two different {ippity} stamp sets for this weeks {Mojo Monday} card.

I stamped the big love background to create the background. I wasn't paying very close attention when I was stitching and oopsed a bit so I ended up just stitching along the two sides and really like it. It's a nice change to the stitching along all the sides. The scallop along the bottom is a last minute add on. I cut my card base to big and needed something to fill the space. This card turned out to be a lot of happy accidents :)

Black Friday FWF

I'm not into Black Friday, are you?? I prefer to shop without thousands of people trying to get the same deals I am. I actually like to have most of my Christmas shopping done before today but I'm a bit behind this year. At least I know what I need though.
This card is a bit different only because it's a unique color combo for me. I've been trying to expand my color palette lately and have to admit, I'm loving it. I used my new {Friendly News} stamp. I've drooled over it for awhile and during Unity's last sale finally ordered it. I have to say it is one of my faves. I love the size of it and can't wait to use it for a scrapbook layout.

Did your weekend go as fast as mine did?? I can't believe it's Monday again. The kids only have school two days this week and then Thanksgiving break. I just know I'm gonna blink and it will be Christmas. Did anyone get to go see New Moon...I didn't :( I've been reading all the blog and facebook posts about how awesome it is and I'm so jealous!!! I'm hoping I can talk my hubby into going next weekend. If not, he's watching the kids and I'm going ;)

Merry Kissmas

I'm really happy with the way this {ippity} card turned out!! I finally had a chance to get some of the stamps inky and WOW!!! I LOVE THESE STAMPS! But I knew I would :) I stamped the snowflake from {Kissmas and Mistletoe} in Whisper White craft ink and stamped it (with the help of my stamp-a-ma-jig) on kraft cardstock. I have to warn you, if you are going to try this it's super messy (because this ink dries slowly) but it's soooooooo worth the effort. I love the soft look of the background.
I had to use my other favorite stamps from this set too. The mistletoe and saying are adorable aren't they? I just love them. Of course, no creation is complete without a bit of gingham, so I had to add a little ribbon.

Appealing Polka Dots

Hi friends....I've got flair!! That's right, I got a card done in time for this weeks {Unity Friends With Flair Hop}.
I'm addicted to coloring now, so here's another one colored with some pencils. You are going to be seeing a lot of birthday cards from me for quite awhile. My mom needs like 40 birthday cards for next year. She manages an elderly apartment so she always orders a big bunch before the new year.
I love the colors of this one. I think I'm feeling the fall colors lately because I'm really drawn to them when I grab at colors.

I've been coloring some of the new {ippity} images but as of yet haven't gotten a full card thrown together. I have a stinking paper due in my ethics class (blah) this week and it's seriously killing my craft time. I wish my teacher could understand just how important these stamps are and cut me a break ;)

Yippity Skippity {ippity} Day!!

I'm so stinkin excited!! My first order of {ippity} stamps is going to be here today. Poor UPS guy, I hope I don't knock him over trying to rip (I mean gently take) the package from him. I love this little church, but during my no coloring spell, I didn't know what to do with it. This is another one colored with my kids cheapo pencils. I really like the color combo (it's a new one for me). I'm having fun lately with brighter colors, maybe it's because we have snow on the ground here.
