Hip hopping colorless here today :) I was feeling a soft monotone card and hadn't done one in awhile. I always like all the elements individually and then once it's done it's SO HARD not to add a POP of color....I still think it needs just a sprinkle. Not sure where or even what color but I have a hard time leaving a card like this alone....guess it's time to get it in the mail and quit thinking about it :)

I used the bird stamp from the {ippity} set:

and it's easily turning into one of my faves :)

It's FUN to color...to paper piece...or even leave it uncolored

the possibilities are endless and I LOVE that about this stamp!

Two weeks in a row....yep...forgot to schedule my Monday post two weeks in a row!

Last Monday I at least remembered it was Monday...today...I had NO CLUE until the news guy said so. DUH...I should have known....I spent all day yesterday watching football which is ALWAYS on Sunday...nope didn't click.

We spent the day yesterday at my parents still from Christmas. It was a nice relaxing holiday. The kids loved their presents and Mom and Dad bought us big kids a ping pong table. We had lots of tournaments and I can still feel my efforts in the back of my left leg today :)

So...here is my H{ippity} Hop Mojo Monday card.

Needed a masculine bday card and the squares seemed fitting. Sorry the colors are so predictable...99% of the time my guy cards are blue green and neutral....boring I know...bores me too!!

Can you feel the excitement!!

My kids are going CRAZY waiting for Santa to come.

I'm ready to just let it all go and enjoy the holidays with my family...no school...no errands....no chaos...well okay there is ALWAYS chaos but I'm ready for some GOOD chaos.

I had planned on working on a sign that I want to hang in my house but man there is like zero craft time around this joint. LUCKILY...I had this card that I made for the NEW release and then saved because I sent it in for a publication call...obviously it wasn't picked up so YOU get to see it here today.

I happen to LOVE it :) Something about the soft patterns and the bold pink really make me HAPPY!

I'm LOVING this color combo...it's not a new one for me but it just really makes me happy today :) I think it's the orange...not a color I used to lvoe but it sure is now.

I colored the deer from the {Retro Cuties} line from {Paper Makeup Stamps} with my copics. NOW I need a refil for my FAVORITE brown color...I use it all the time. It got a little streaky at the end so don't look too close....

....you went back to look didn't you ;)
I do the same thing...tell me not to look and I WILL!

Getting closer...can you believe Christmas is next weekend??

As Scroogey as this may sound I'm ready for December to bid us farewell...I'm ready to welcome 2011. Not that 2010 has been a bad year...just excited for the newness of another year.

BUT first...I'm ready to celebrate Christmas...just wish the to-do list that came along with the holidays was shorter.

Today I have a Christmas card to share using MY FAVORITE of the NEWEST {ippity} release.

I stamped right on canvas and stitched around the edges to keep it in place. A little ribbon and some stickers and that's it...easy peasy! Look how easy this card would be to mass produce to send to friends and family?!

OMG!!! This is the first December that I really think I may not survive...hehe! I am so overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done this year and I feel like it's a mad scrambled everyday to get things done.

I'm hoping to take some pictures of what I have done soon...not all the pages because they aren't all share worthy :)

Welcome to another HIP HOP!!!

I have to say I'm pretty excited about today's theme (because some have been a bit scary)...I don't step out of my comfort zone very often.

Today we are making quick last minute Christmas gifts.

This was PERFECT for me because I actually needed one. We have an annual Guzman family Christmas and we bring a family gift to exchange. I skipped it last year and the kids were NOT very happy about it...so I knew I had to bring something this year. I was almost ready to give up on finding anything when I saw a ceramic mixing bowl with a cute matching whisk at Wal-Mart for only $9. I added a cake and brownie mix...some candy canes...cute little tags and TA-DAH....here is my gift:

I think it turned out pretty cute for only around $12

Here are the close-up of the tags:

I re-typed the directions from the cake boxes (the condensed version) and added them on the back side of the tags...much cuter than the generic box :) Since we draw for the prizes I don't know who will be getting the gift so I only had to include who it was from. I hope who ever gets it loves it as much as I do.
So...if you need a last minute gift it can be CUTE, QUICK and AFFORDABLE...just think outside the packaging and make it EXTRA SPECIAL :)

It's the 7th of the month and you know what that means....right...right!?!?

Welcome to the first HIP HOP of December!!!

December...I have mixed feelings about this month. Excitement because Christmas is coming... worry because Christmas is coming...down right FEAR because Christmas is coming ;)

I LOVE the holidays...so much about them but man does it sneak up fast.
