Thursday, June 30th

It's a HAPPY Thursday here this week.
My hubby has had meetings in downtown Denver for a few days and the company he works for put him up in a REALLY fancy hotel. We brought the kiddo's up and have been swimming in the pool and hanging out on the 16th street mall. Nothing better than a break from reality...except for a FREE one :)
Luckily I planned ahead and photographed all my cards before I left. The internet here at the hotel is incredibly slow so loading the pictures took FOR-EV-VER!!!!

I couldn't wait until July to make a card so I'm sneaking one in today on the last day on June :)

{Mojo Monday} on Tuesday???
Better late than never I guess :)

I made this card on Sunday...it was ready...glitter dry...everything glued together and than life happened and I just got it photographed.
I tried...really I did.

The {flower image} and {sentiment} are NEW {Rubbernecker} releases.

Some more way cute stuff...I can hardly keep up with all the new rubber stacks on my desk.

Alright...I'm off to clean the house and get two more cards ready for THIS week. Yep...more posts coming from me :)

Where oh where have I been?!?!
I keep telling myself summer will slow down and I will get back to posting more regularly. I think I'm kidding myself. I really REALLY thought I would have gotten my {Mojo Monday} card done this week but nope.
Mattea's birthday party/father's day party was this weekend and we did a lot of this:

which resulted in THIS!!!!

She jumped off the ladder into the pool and out they came. LUCKILY they were baby teeth but geez.
After a few pina colada's...for me not her ;) the crazy of the day was gone but so was my crafty mojo.
BUT I do have a card to share with you today...shocking I know!

I used the ADORABLE ice cream cone from the {June KOTM} from Unity. SO FUN to color. I was actually supposed to be cleaning my craft room (that's what I told my hubby) so the papers are all scraps...picked up and put on my card :)

SUMMER....
has been keeping me VERY BUSY!!
I was looking forward to the kids not having as much to do.
Turns out there is MORE to do this summer.
Dance recitals, softball, swimming, birthdays, bbq's....BUSY...BUSY!

But I did find time to squeeze in a card for this month's Unity Challenge
{SUN & FUN}

I used the fun beach image from the {June KOTM}.

I couldn't decide which colors to color the images so I left it black and white and made all the papers and accesories pop. These colors are so fun and summery to me.

Have you seen all the NEW {Rubbernecker stamps} that were released.

Gotta LOVE Rubbernecker.

I'm a HUGE fan of all these {animal stamps}.

All the red polka dot scraps I had laying on my desk made me reach for this adorable ant stamp and the matching sentiment. The pieces were already cut at these crazy angles from another project.

Ugh...please tell me blogger is being a pain in the butt for you too.

I'm head over heels in love with this week's super cool {Mojo Monday} sketch!

Oh the possibilities right!!!

I used some of my favorite Echo Park patterns for todays card. It was super simple. I cut the strips 1 inch each and then used a circle punch to make 1 inch circles.

The flowers are from the NEW {ippity} release
{Friends+Flowers=Priceless}
I stamped the big flower once in purple and in blue and then the small flower in yellow. From the front you can see how dimensional it is so I took a detail shot

There are so many great flowers in this set...check it out :)

Welcome to HIP HOP!

Have you seen the new kit of the month??

....all smiles :)

I really wanted to ink up that adorable ice cream cone first but I felt like making a rainbow card to try out some of my new inks so I used the solid butterfly stamp instead.
I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to line the images up next to each other.
The torn edges were strickly by accident. I messed up the stamping on that side but I had already cut my black mat so I didn't want to take to much off so I ripped it. I love when creative accidents happen.
